How We Think Green

Uptown Suites is concerned about sustainability, and we’re committed to doing our part to lessen our environmental footprint. We have undertaken many green initiatives including:

Highly efficient air conditioning and heating units
Water-saving shower heads, toilets, and faucets
Energy-efficient fluorescent bulbs
Door sweeps, weather stripping, and insulating foam covers on electrical outlets on exterior walls
Car charging stations in our property parking lots

A Firm Foundation

We’re taking steps to be green from top to bottom, using green products and materials whenever possible, such as utilizing a wood structure that is a recyclable building product, recycled plastic for window frames, formaldehyde-free building insulation, and low-VOC paint.
