Nashville is home to a wide variety of concerts, festivals and fun-filled events throughout the spring season. We’ve put together a quick list of some of the events you can attend in 2020.
The 4th Annual Nashville Elvis Festival is a celebration of the king of rock. Join in for a weekend of live performances, celebrity appearances, and the finest Elvis tribute artists around. The 4-day event is hosted at The Factory at Franklin and features a handful of contests and, of course, live music. Tickets are available online or at the box office, however, tickets sell quickly so you may want to purchase in advance. The venue is about 20 miles from Uptown Suites Extended Stay but with the festival’s Uber invite code “sfw0i” you can get $20 off your first ride.
The Vintage Market Days of Nashville is an enormous craft fair that is based in a 60,000 square foot facility. Each station featuring top-notch interior designers. Browse the countless booths of antique goods, handmade treasures, clothing, jewelry, and much more. Attendees can partake in DIY clinics, giveaways, and games. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and admission is $15. It’s located at the brand new Fairgrounds Nashville, 18 miles from Uptown Suites.
The I Love the 90’s Bash Bar Crawl is a nationwide event that’s coming to Nashville in 2020. The event includes an I Love the 90s color-changing stadium cup, discounted drink specials, 90’s music, and a costume contest. The Bar crawl will be along the famous Broadway Ave in downtown Nashville. Tickets start at $16 for general admission. The purchase of a ticket ensures no cover fee for any participating bar along the crawl.
If you consider yourself a fan of Whiskey then check out the Nashville Whiskey Festival. Its goal is to inspire participants to truly taste, learn, and experience all the aspects of fine whiskey. General admission is $30, which includes 5 sample tickets. The festival is located at the Alley Taps bar in downtown Nashville.
The 7th annual Nashville Cocktail Festival is a celebration of all things cocktail related. From boutique spirits, small-batch mixers and the bartenders who put it all together. Take the opportunity to engage and taste the best of Nashville’s cocktail community. Tickets are available online starting February 21st.
The annual Nashville Comedy Festival features some of the funniest comedians from all over the world. Comedic acts take the stage at famous Nashville venues like the Opry House and Zanies Comedy Club. You’ll double over with laughter at headliners Bill Burr, Lewis Black and Bert Kreischer, known for their H.B.O and Netflix comedy specials. Scan their lineup to see which comedians are performing during your stay. Tickets are only available for individual performances.
Since 1965, the Spring Tennessee Craft Fair has preserved and advanced the tradition of true Tennessee craft. Expect to see handcrafted art from local and international artists. The fair requires artists to be on-site so visitors can learn interesting perspectives like what inspires them and how they take raw materials and transform them into unique works of art. People come from all over to the Spring Craft Fair, located at Centennial Park. Centennial Park is 20 miles from Uptown Suites Nashville TN – Smyrna location. Admission is free.
If you fancy yourself a hockey fan, then make your way to Bridgestone Arena for a Nashville Predators game and experience “Smashville” for yourself. The arena is located in the heart of Nashville near many of the area’s most popular attractions so there is plenty to do before and after the game. The Predator’s regular season ends in April, so check their schedule and see if a game falls during your trip. The arena is a 25-minute drive from Uptown Suites.
